Today, Tyra and myself looked through our music video on Final Cut Express once again as we have discussing, and have had previous discussions on whether or not to add special effects to the final video. We brought this up in conversation, as we wanted to increase the effectiveness and impact that the video has upon the audience. We therefore went through the video cut by cut to see if we could add any additional transitions to make the narrative clearer or to make the video look better on a whole. We did end up adding 2 extra transition effects, one in which was a fade in transition to a shot to show a sudden change of time in the day, as well as a cross dissolve to make the video flow more effectively. We looked over the video as a whole again, and found that these extra effects significantly improved the flow of the music video.
